On my tenth birthday, Aunty Ed asked as usual, what I would like as a gift, and as usual, I suggested a box of chocolates. So on the day, I was surprised to receive a card and no chocolates. However, inside the card was some money with a note that read, "I always do as I am bid, and yet I think perhaps dear kid, instead of chocolates as you said, you'd rather have the dough instead." This was one of several little jingles she had sent over the years,, showing her sense of humour and her love. Dearly missed. Jan XXX
