I miss you with all my heart Evan. You were, and still are, everything to me. It has been two long, lonely years without your smile, your teasing, your sense of humour, and your hugs. I even miss all the tears we shed together. My memories are what get me by and there are so many happy ones. I was so proud of you Evan, and your family and friends and their messages and support show how much you were loved by so many. I know you are at peace now and someday I will join you and we will be together again. My heart aches for you. All my love, Mom XXX OOO!

“You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him only that he is gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on".

Evan was and still is the greatest, He may not be here on earth but in are hearts is where he shall remain. The heart is where we store are moments, memories, love, care and friends like you. Evan was my Classmate and not only that he was also my friend. I remember all the times we had together, especially making jokes in the class. There were times where he didn't come to class and those days he was not there was not the same. I didn't do well in class when he wasn't around. But We all love and miss you dearly. God Bless you and i hope we find out who did this to you.

We never know how much we miss someone untill they're gone. I still think of you almost everyday, wishing I'd taken a bigger part in your life, but Gods plans for us aren't always what we expect or hope for. Rest in Peace Evan, until we meet again, you'll always be in my heart and mind. Pussar och Kramar till dig.

God looked around his Garden and found and empty place. He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. His garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. As the days have come and gone and the world moves on, I know you're still here, you'll never be gone.On the night and Angel came and took your hand. We cried as you left for an unknown land. But heaven rejoiced as you came into sight. For your soul is a star shining so very bright. Luv Aunt Elain

What moves through us is a silence,a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day,one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived and that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. One year has passed since that sad, sad day, but in my heart, YOU'LL always stay. So sad that I'll never get to know the man you had become

A thousand times we needed you, A thousand times we cried, If love alone could have saved you, You never would have died. A heart of gold stopped beating Two twinkling eyes closed to rest. God broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best Never a day goes by, that you're not inmy heart and in my soul.

It's been six months since you've been gone. I come here everyday, hoping to find some peace in my heart, sad that I never got to know the young man that you had become. I'm glad, happy and proud of you when I hear all the good things your friends write or tell me about you, how you've touched their lives in so many good ways. One day the pain will go away, but my memories of you ........WILL ALWAYS STAY. To quote some words from you I found online........"I call my brother sun, because he shines like one". I call you sun, because you shone like one, and touched so many lives in a good an positive way. Sadly missed but not forgotten....R.I.P. Evan.

Evy baby .. we've been through a lot over our years. You a St. Victor grad - Me, the enemy, a St. Andrew's grad. Yet, our friendship was undeniable. You made me smile, always. I remember meeting you and Jamie at fishjoy on lunch breaks in elementary school. Standing under the trees (the smoking section) in grade nine on your skateboard. You were a true friend. I remember the girls (Christie, Christine, Nicole, Sheena, all of them) teasing me, they always knew I had a special place for you in my heart. A place you'll never leave, here or there, you're always with me. I love you. Rest in peace babe - you'll never be forgotten .. there's tooooo many people that you touched. I can just say I'm thankful I was one of them <3

Marty, on behald of my family from Barbados; to you my dearest sister-in-law. We are all saddened by Evan's untimely departure. We know that he is now resting peacefully in the arms of the Almighty where there will be no more pain. Marty, we will continue to pray for you and hope that each day you will become more stronger. We too have fond memories of Evan especially his "innocent , sweet laughter", the long days spent on the beautiful beaches in Barbados, and the in pool at the hotel; more recently, when we visited your house in 1995. At that time Evan and our son were very young and all that mattered to them was "playtime". We are sorry that we could'nt have been there for the funeral, however, we will cherish his memories long after.

Marty, I only met Evan once, as a little boy, but I remember his beautiful eyes and and winning smile. I could never truly express my sympathy in words but please know that my thoughts are with you at this time of shocking loss. May you find the comfort you need in your memories, your family and friends and whatever else you look to for guidance. Jan Hanley (Elain's friend)

Evan was there for me through the roughest of times, he could always make me smile and laugh, no matter how hard the times got. I'll never forget Evan dancing and singing in the back seat of my car or any of his signature dance moves. I looked forward to seeing him everyday and was truly saddened when we grew apart. Evan always put everyone else before him and his only concern was to keep people entertained and happy. His smile and laughter brought happiness to everyone he met. He will be missed by more people than he will ever know. Marty your son put his heart out to everyone and we will do the same for you. Please don't feel alone, for you made Evan the amazing person that he was and we are all here for you. My heart goes out to you, stay strong and keep that amazing humor alive! xoxo Lauren P.

It's been 18 years since I first and last saw you, I'll always remember that summer in 1990, me, being scared because you got your ear stuck in the revolving doors. I wish I had gotten to know you better, now I'll never have the chance. I miss you dearly, but the memories of you will always be there. I'm sad and angered about the way you left us and so early in life. I keep asking why it had to be in such a way, even though my faith in God makes me hope and believe that he must be missing another good angel, and that's why he took you, I still find it hard to believe that you're gone. R.I.P. until we meet again. Marty, no matter what happens, you'll always remain apart of my family.

Dear Marty, My heart goes out to you in this time of sorrow. As a mother I know that the love we feel for our children runs deep into our sole and we feel it with every beat of our heart. The times that I've meet Evan he showed nothing but respect and a beautiful smile which only proves the fact that he has a wonderful mother. Try not to let yourself get lose in sorrow let your wonderful memories of your son pull you through.

Evan always brought coffee to us at the office, even brought some chocolate in.......I saw him often and even tho we were not close friends I still thought he was a good person and didnt desrve to loose his life at such a young age. Marty has been a great friend to me and someone I could lean on and confide in. It breaks my heart......When someone passes on I always tell them : "my dad will take care of you" So Evan R.I.P My dad will have your back

You and I were anti-social to our families last Boxing Day, and I thank you for that. When your shy like me divergence and mixing things up make it fun. We wrestled on your X-Box for hours, in fact it is the sole reason why I got the game on my birthday. I got to know what was in your heart that holiday, and I looked forward to many more holidays. When I'm with our family this year, you will be greatly missed. I'm not always the type to talk, but when something is on my mind I let it be known. There has been alot on my mind this week. Joy in the short time we knew each other, sadness and anger in what happened to you. There is no excuse in what happened to you, and I hope your in a better place.

i will never forget the first day i meet Evan. he was the shy kid hiding behind a tree acroos the canel at his aunts house. From that day forward my life has been different and so many good ways. we spent to many summers, christmas breaks and march breaks together. He took my skiing for the first time and we went every winter for the next 4 years after that. In the summers we would either go to the beach or out on my parents boat swimming, we even spent one week one summer and went though the liftlocks. I have soo many wonderful memories of Evan. Like singing "gansta paridise" in his aunt's basement. Can't believe i'll never see him again. He will be truely missed by me alot. Goodbye to a long good childhood friend. Jessica F
