Eve's spirit endures. It will never be Extinguished. Those demons who took her physical life will meet her again, but in the presence of our Lord. They will be cast into he'll from where they came. Evil will not win. Eve is a guardian Angel in Heaven.

I have only known Eve Carson through the news and media but never have I been so moved by the death of a person I never met. It seems to me that she was a giving, real version of the woman many of us would like to be. I believe it takes a genuine person, caring person to look into so many people's eyes and make them feel like they matter. It's strange but I often think of the videos I've seen of Eve talking to her classmates to help me keep a positive attitude throughout my day. She and her family are in my prayers and I am thankful to her for someone randomly encouraging me to live life to it's fullest. Thank you Eve for living life abundantly!

An angel passed away. An evil was born since Marie's death.

I did not know her. This is so tragic as to how this world is evolving. She would have made such a difference as would the young man from Duke. My heart goes out to the parents and family of these two brillant young people. I continue to pray for world peace.

She was so genuine. She really did make you feel so important - I think she might not have realized how idolized she was by so many people.

Words can not express the profound sadness and grief that I feel resulting from the tragic and untimely death of this beautiful young woman. As a parent, I can not imagine. As a UNC alumni, I can not imagine. As a human being, I can not imagine. To her family and friends, I offer my deepest sympathy, my thoughts, and my prayers. To move forward, we must be grateful for what we have or have had. To dwell on what could have been becomes self defeating. I never met Eve, but I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to know her in some small way through the media.

I never had the chance to meet Eve but when I heard the news it really touched me like it was one of my close friends and i can't sleep until the killer was captured even if i didn't know her she will always hold a place in my heart

I never knew Eve but I know that she was an example for us all. I still cannot believe that someone who held such promise and an exemplary life could be taken so soon. To her family, please accept my sincere condolences. Eve was a bright light and she was a reflection of you. I'm so sorry for your deep loss. Eve was one of a kind and will never be replaced. I am hearing-impaired/deaf stranger from Texas. I feel profoundly sad. She is enormously beautiful young lady whose bright future inspires all of us. I am deeply sorry. I do not speak the language of evil. My heart is wounded. I will always love you.

Part of the last E in EVE's vision of Efficiency, Vision, and Everyone was to make UNC a comfortable and SAFE place for everyone.

I'm sorry for what happened. I know that losing someone who was really close is hard. My prayers go to Eve's family and friends. I didn't know Eve, but when i heard about it on the news, i was shocked. Just yesterday i heard about Lauren Burke's death and now i find about another college student's death.
