A kinder and more generous man the world would struggle to find. Gavin gave his time without question and for many of my formative years was the father I had when my paternal father couldn't be there. He loved his wife beyond question and so too his daughters and in fact loved everything about life. He will be missed, but we are all better people for having spent time in his presence.
