i moved to atlanta georgia as an aircraft mechanic. gerry and i were on the same crew in the hangar. he became one of my closest friends.he was probably one of the best if not the best mechanic NWA had. he helped me so much i felt like he as close to me as my own brother. gerry not only helped me at work, he helped me run a hot dog cart. what he and i did running the cart was the absolute most fun i had ever had. no matter what we did we had a ball. from running the cart, to laying concrete slabs, to sheet shooting (we shot 100 skeetes each,Gerry never missed and i never hit one.but with Gerry it was fun). he never, and i mean never had a cross word about anyone. Gerry i love you and i know God now has one of the most loveable and fun people he allowed on his earth. God will be glad you are there.

So very sad to hear that you have passed on 60 years young. Fond memories of the joyous times spent at your home with Chris & Juddy but also mindful of having too much fun in your absence and being at the wrong end of your wrath! In awe of your resilience, rest in peace now dear Gerry. Matt Peart
