Hilda was my mother Maureen's first cousin, but I only have a couple of memories of her, one from the early 1960s, travelling by car to Springvale to attend either my grandmother's or grandfather's funeral, and then again in the early 1990s when we both attended our relative Dorothy's funeral. In 2004 I was contacted by her as Quinton was doing some family research, and I provided some information about my branch of the family.
