Ishmeet we will light up a big candle on 2nd September and watch our past recorded programmes to remember you and think at the same time the pain of your parents and your lovely Ishmeet's Sister who we pray for to get strength each day to survive. Ishmeet enjoy your Birthday with GOD because I do ask GOD why did you take our Ishmeet so young and breaking the hearts of those fans who wanted hear Ishmeet for years just like Mukesh and Kishore Kumar. Ishmeet what you have given us in short time needs to be treasured, because that title you won cannot be taken away. It lights up hope for those who take part in future SVOI.

I still have SOME recorded shows, but I want the Judges to take out only CD and DVD of Ishmeet when he started his journey in Star Voice Of India. I like all his fans would like to keep Ishmeet alive in our hearts and get over our grief by listening to Ishmeet CD or watch his DVD when we feel like it. Therefore I do hope Judges will do this ASAP in Tribute memory of Ishmeet who will never ever die in our hearts.

Maldivians feel very sad for this sudden and shocking incident, so sad tat ishmeet came maldives n without meeting his fans it hapned ,though here r lot of his fan. n now diferent people talk diferently about this incident,what ever happens its so sad that he is no more . if there is any plane behind his death insha Allah it shld be knw quickly. but plse dont try to make an issue on this like indian politician do always, if anything happens trying to blame some one, this is not fare, Ishmeet won our hearts and will stay in our hearts forever.

I still remember the early days of VOI where Ishmeet was not even considered to win. Over the rounds, the way he improved to match the voice of Harshit and skills of Irfan and Abas goes to show the dedication and faith he had in himself. I always thought that if someone should win then this guy who is so humane and friendly and with a smile that could melt you down should win. As I got to know much later about his success, I am late in hearing his demise as well. Still cannot believe that somebody brimming with so much of youth could just vanish like a shooting star. Ishmeet, your voice and that enchanting smile will be with us forever. I pray that your parents have the courage to endure your loss and may your soul rest in peace.

Ishmeet's untimely death is the worst tragedy that can hit any parents. He was simple, honest, sweet and an icon for youth and Sikhs in particular. He valued his religious beliefs and lived upto his parents teachings and expectations. He had a very innocent face which is difficult to find in today's times.

I am so shocked about Ishmet's death, cannot believe that he has passed away, May God bless his soul and give his family, his friends, relatives and all the fans patience and please keep Ishmet in your prayers.

when i came to know that he has passed away i was just leaving at that time for my college. I could not controll myself even during the lectures. That day i took a promise to myself that to make ishmeet live forever in everybody's hearts we all have to remember his voice and try our level best to compleate his dreams. I was so shocked to hear that Ishmeet Singh had died. He was a talanted upcoming singer who was ready to take India by storm. When he won VOI it was so nice to see a sikh boy win such a well recognised competition. He had so much more to do. My prayers and wishes go to his Mum, Dad & sister he loved them so much and they were so proud of him. It was so cruel to take him away from them. May god help them get through this painfull time. Ishmeet is still alive through his music.

When such a tragedy strikes, one often stops and wonders "what is the meaning of life" "why god did this happen" Ever since i found out what had happened to Dear Ishmeet I have been crying many tears and the aching in my heart doesn't seem to fade.
