Saddened to hear of the passing of Jim Bannister. My sincere condolences to Jim, Ken and Diane for their sad loss. Some of the fondest memories of my childhood revolve around the Bannister family, from the sincere and valued friendships to the wonderful times had aboard the "Mervane" Later in life J.B. took a much appreciated interest in my career/business interests and many a social occasion was enjoyed with J.B. and Merve when they were holidaying on the Gold Coast..
