This tribute is so sweet. She seems like a fragile girl. But reading your comments, she was a strong personality. Bless you all.

I didn't know her very much personally, except through friends of hers (Aresha & Paul). The few times i saw her, she just sat there in Phuture, taking a her drinks quietly. The deepest etched memory i have of her was hear-say of her reading Enid Blyton in Zouk & getting membership. Pocky, we'll miss u...

I didn't know her that well, only seeing her at home club and the then, mad monk's during those dnb shows saying brief hellos and smiling for the camera when i took photos. My heartfelt condolences goes out to her family and friends.

An amazing character this one was. Blessed to have met her and fondly remember a certain conversation about kangkong being just a plant. It's still a delicious plant Pocky. I'll miss you, goodbye my friend.

I am not a mutual friend nor am I an acquaintance, but I would always see her at all +65 events at homeclub. She would stand out above the rest in terms of dressing, and my girlfriend has hung out with her as well and found her to be an approachable, nice and sweet girl. This lost comes as a shock to me and my girlfriend, Christy and our prayers goes out to her and her family. This has taught me something, always cherish those close to you, only then can you build on those beautiful memories, life IS fragile.

Chen Po Chen aka Pocky 1984 to 23 Jan 2008 Pocky was a friend i could always count on since i was 19.. which makes it 7 years of friendship or even more... To me, it was more than company... she became something like family to me.. I laugh now when i think back of the antics we used to do.. She used to push me to eat, drink and meet new people. I used to make fun of her while she dipped her satay in tissue coz she said chicken was weird if it were sweet from the sauce.. I made fun of her books and i always got hit or pinched for doing so. Recently, it was hard to see her become like this... she used to help me so much but i couldnt do anything to help except drive her around wherever she needed to.. I hope it was enough for her... One day i get a call when i finally decide to call her so we could meet over the weekend. I missed that call... The next call i got was prob the last thing i expected.. They told me she had passed on. I came that night with Jasmin to see her one last time. I'm sorry i wasnt as strong as i thought i was. I shall always miss you, my dear friend... I hope you're happy where you are. I will be, knowing that you are... Rest Well. See you.. Someday... <25th Jan 2008>
