HI, my name is Nat and I was Anthony's girlfriend for 6 years in highschool. I basically lived at their house and Vlad and Jess were my 'adopted' parents. They encouraged me to study hard, they fed me and even paid my university fees! Jess was a lovely, kind, fun person for whom I have the deepest respect and admiration for. I am soooo grateful she was in my life for that time and I have gone on to become a teacher because of her help and influence. I owe this family alot and I am so sad that Jess is not here so I can tell her all this. Thankyou Golowenko's, for everything. My life is better for having known you Jess. From Natalie Lever xx

You may touch a child’s heart for only a moment, but the mark you leave lasts a lifetime. We came to Sydney from England three days after Christmas 2008. Every day for 6 months, Callum, our eldest son, would go quiet, sigh, and heart-breakingly tell us that he wanted to go home “to my old house”. We thought it would never end, and even thought of going back. However, Lisa and Anthony took pity on us, and we became friends, and for Callum’s 4th birthday they invited us to spend the day at the farm with “Nanna Jess and Poppy Vlad”. It marked the turning point for Callum, and for us all. Although it was the first time we ever met, Jess and Vlad welcomed us all with open arms, and made Callum feel like a king for a day. A better 4th birthday no child could ever wish for. From that day on, Callum called Sydney "home", and has never asked to go back to England since- except for a holiday. Whenever we think of Jess, we think of that day. It was so natural for her to be so kind, so generous, and it changed our lives. “Nanna Jess” will always live in a small corner of Callum’s heart; the bit with the warm smiles, the big hugs, the generous spirit, and of course the laughter! In truth she will always be held in great affection by us all, as someone who welcomed us to her home as if she had known us forever on the day we first met her. From the Taylor Family.

We remember Jessie as a wonderful bubbly person who would light up the room with her cheeky sense of humour. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. All our heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family at the sudden tragic loss of such a beautiful loving person. From Regina and Geoff Devitt
