Gorgeous boy with a heart of gold. Friends knew they could rely on Josh to be there when they needed someone to talk to. It was impossible not to act yourself around him, he would bring the best out of everyone. He was so fun, loved by everyone who met him. Friends of Josh would say he was incredibly extraverted and had a crazy sense of humour, a personality that everyone wanted- he was just great company. He loved catching up with friends, especially the Marist boys. Josh loved going out with mates, and no one could understand how he could keep on dancing. Where did he seriously get that energy from! Dancing machine. I remember having dance offs with Josh and we’d show each other a number of dance moves, one of his favourites was The Sprinkler. He was the life of every get together with friends. It was difficult not to get along with Josh. He was very social and talented. He wrote his own music, loved playing the guitar and had a collection of amazing drawings and paintings. His smile would change the mood in a room and his company would turn anyone’s frown upside down. Josh is a real inspiration. He lived his life, making the most of every moment. Not a day goes by where we don’t think about him. Loved and missed so incredibly much. In our thoughts, Nige, Julie, Nadia and Luke.

I remember Josh as a very quiet self-contained boy who was very close to his sister Nadia and very easy to get along with. He mixed well with my three daughters, although he especially liked it when he had another boy to play with and do "guy-stuff" together. Have an especially good memory of him at a Guy Fawkes night in Canberra many many years ago running around, very happy and excited, especially when the pinwheel on the door caught on fire!! My heart goes out to Julie, Nigel and family, and my tears together with the tears of Siobhan, Grace and Marjorie mingle with yours at this terrible loss. Goodbye Josh and RIP.
