What can I say about this fabulously beautiful woman? Living in London it was finally confirmed to me today that Kay passed away. She gave me voice lessons for a decade and got me through exams and encouraged and cajoled and praised all of her students who loved her dearly. She became a very true and very dear friend. Her tolerant open minded view on life and her stunning sense of humour along with her wit and charm made her one of life's truly beautiful human beings. She visited me and my partner in London only a few years ago and stayed with us while she was here. She revelled in discovering her family history and adored visiting all the historical sights. She was particularly taken with Windsor Castle...and the local Italian restaurant in Surbiton upon Thames where my partner and I now live! I will never ever forget the hard work and joy she created in her twice yearly concerts and the fun and the drama and the excitement of those shows and productions. How she enjoyed all the seasons, the city, the countryside her friends and her family. How she enjoyed life. I will miss her for the rest of my life and will think of her with great joy in my heart. Bless you Kay. Bless you very very much. Adrian Amer adrian.amer@9bedfordrow.co.uk 07915 074 586

I visited Ms Edwards every Tuesday for many years as a young girl learning classical piano. She taught me through each of my AMEB grades to grade 6. She was an amazing and dedicated teacher. She was musically talented, compassionate and caring. Lessons with Ms Edwards was a hugely important part of my life and my sister's life as young girls - I think about her often, and speak of her often too. We will never forget our music recitals and playing with her cats and dogs in the waiting room of her Paddington Terrace. I am very sad to have heard of her death, but know that she has left a lasting musical legacy.
