Me and my friends we away on a vacation cruise to Mexico when we heard the news. We all just sat there in disbelief. One of my friends is a MECU employee who said that she had just spoken to her earlier that week regarding her car loan account and that she was trying to sell her house. I was about 12 yrs old...me my aunt and sister were comming out of old party city when we saw k swift and the 92 q truck gettin balloons for an upcoming party i was really excited...but i never said hi because i was was so shy!!! she really touched alot of lives in baltimore and more importantly the youth!!!

I attended the funeral of Khia Edgerton today (Saturday) and my heart goes out to her family from me and our church family (City Temple of Baltimore, Baptist). We wrap our arms around you and ask God's blessings and care.

All I have to say is I have been partying at the clubs since the Odell days and I stopped going out because it is not the same anymore but I MUST SAY that when I turned on 92Q and heard the club mix, I could not stop dancing. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE WAY YOU DJ!!! No one has been able to keep me on my feet and dancing for years because they dont know how to blend and bring in the right song but YOU.....O MY....you was a PRO. What am I going to do now? No one can DJ like you Swift. I am truly sad, you will be missed, your family & the 92Q family are in my prayers and yes, your work here is done but NEVER forgotten. I moved to Baltimore in 1997 and met K Swift at Mondamin Mall a few years later. She was very young then but still a beautiful, charming, and approachable young lady. I think we bought about 5 of her cd's that day. I have since left B-more but my daughter and I play her 'club queen' mixes all the time. My sympathy goes out to her family. i came to Baltiomore 7/23/2002 with my 4 young children. I- remember going to the club w/ my cousin whom was already here in MD. , Foxies Den was the name of the club. mrs Tony was big then. For the past 4 yrs all my daughter would plead to is to go the high school jump-offs thrown by Ms k-swift and we have every mix cd she has presented to downtown locker room stores. We have had many backyard parties n i will tell u, it kept people dancing. all n all jst want 2 say u will 4ever be missed Ms. Edgerton and ur sound wil never be replaced.

the frist time i heard k-swift music i was only 14 yrs old. It was me my sister and my cousin we was in plamer crt parking lot amd her music camed on and we had turned the parking lot into a party. so then on when 9:00 hit it was k-swift time. i will turly miss her i know she in a better place. god bless her fam.

Even though I wasn't given the opportunity to know K-Swift personally itsclear to see that she was a blessing and inspiration to so many people. Its amazing how many peoples lives she touched throughout her 29 years of life. It still hasn't hit me that she is gone away from this Earth, but it is already apparant that her legacy will live on because of the great impact she had world-wide. My heart and condolences truly go out to her family and friends, but I'm sure just knowing her was a blessing and the memories is what they will hold on to while celebrating her memory.
