It was carrie, TJ, wayne, and I driving up the H-3 to head back to kailua side and the car breaks down. Everyone of us is sleeping (except carrie cause she's driving) and so she's freaking out and we all get up. Wayne hops out of the car to push it and is yelling at TJ to wake up and help. TJ is half-asleep/half-awake and he's just standing there holding the car door with the craziest "what the heck is going on!?!" face. It's those off-guard moments when you least expect it that pop up most often when you realize that person is gone. It's those moments you look back on and wonder why you can't have more. It was never goodbye just "see you later".
