Len (Dusty) was my father's best friend and best man at Mum and Dad's wedding in 1946. Every Anzac Day for the past 20 odd years, my husband would take Len and Dad into town to join their fellow HMAS Warrego mates at the Gallipoli Club. They were both unable to march over the last few years. Len was very good at woodwork, and I still use a little side table he made me. Len was a gentleman.
