I met Allen through work. Every tuesday I would look forward to going to his place not just as a cleaner as a friend. Allen taught me so much about life. He even helped me with my essays and I tried to help him with his very difficult crosswords :) Allen was very proud of his family, all such well acheivers. Allen was the smartest person that I had ever met. Allen and I also shared our birthdays the 23rd of October. He was very nice to me and understood that it was hard for me to clean so spotless when I working last year heavily pregnant. R.I.P Allen and God Bless you and Muriel. Thinking of your family this Christmas. Jane http://www.poetry-online.org/wordsworth_daffodils.htm
Allen always sought me out at school inspector functions held at my parents, Donald and Ann(dec) Paul, home in Wagga Wagga. Carol and I have also been so very fortunate to have lived close to both Muriel and Allen in their retiirement in the Northern Rivers. Thank you Allen.
