How precious that little girl is. It is time these religious fanatics stop this B.S. The judge was right. God works through people--doctors and nurses. The religious fanatics are just nuts---I wish I could have adopted Kara and saved her. I hope her parents get what they deserve, that their business goes downhill and they get bad luck and a bad reputation the rest of their lives.

The irony of this sad story is that their god didn't save her. I'ts about time to put a stop to religious venom.

a child taken from the world by parents who foolishly believe that saying words in prayer to a God will save their child. did they ever stop to think that their God also gave the DOCTORS and NURSES the wisdom to help do His work on Earth by treating the sick and curing illnesses? Did they ever think that their God gave them life - and that's it? "It's all up to you now". He gave people the gift of healing and treating. He gave others that give of being able to use their hands to build a house, etc. these parents should be charged with murder - not reckless homicide. this was premeditated by the fact they knew their daughter was deathly ill and needed medical attention, but refused to do so. that little voice inside them was not loud enough. What is wrong with the MOTHER? how sad is that. a little girl will never have her first date, first kiss, first love, or bless the world with children of her own. i hope when they get locked up, they are put in the general population (just like how Dahmer was 'accidentally' put in the GP) and justice will prevail on its own. they will never see Kara again with where they are going. the first amendment protects religious belief, not the conduct. you couldn't have a ritual killing based on religious beleifs...

What a waste of life... This beautiful little girl that should have been protected by her parents. There are parents all over the world that would lay down and die for just one more day with their children and these parents just give up. I feel sorry for her siblings; for the pain they are feeling every day.

I'm a type one diabetic and I've been in ketoacidosis. Its come close to killing me but i never had it as bad as Kara. I couldnt help but cry when I first heared about her story. I cant even amagin how much pain she must have been in. I feel so lucky to have the parentsI do, who took the time to find out what was wrong with me. To be honest I havent taken care of my blood surar as well as I could but because of this story I am now. I have the chance to take care of myself and live a good life. Kara didnt and what her parents did to her, how she suffered because of them is just sick.

Why is it that according to christians, abortion is murder, but allowing your child to die a horrible, preventable death is not?

when I heard of Kara's unnessecary death, I was in total shock and BURST into tears. I will NOT judge her parnets, neither Kara. May she rest in the Lords hands forever. She never seemed to be selfish, jealous, proud, wroud, sad, mad, or heartbroken. Kara was the most joyful little girl I have ever met. She was always free spirited and full of the joy of the Lord. May Kara be precious memorie for all.

I have been Kara's best-friend ever since we were 4. Our mom's met and became friends at church and so Kara and I had a very special bond and became best friends. We always played together, like every day. I love her and I miss her. She will be cherished in my heart forever. When I go to heaven I will meet at the front gate, and she will be jump ropeing. We will jump forever and ever. I know this because, I heard of a woman that was having surgery and they were trying to bring her back to life and when she woke, she said she saw a girl jump ropeing at the very front gate. God brought her there to be of something, he wanted Kara to be up there with him. I LOVE Kara. I was and still am devastated that she passed away. We always played dolls, went swimming, played with beanie babies, played like we were dogs, We were the closest friends EVER!!!! I so wish she could be here, so I could here her voice and she could here mine. God bless Kara Neumann. GOD BLESS HER FOREVER!!!!!! She is as precious as diamonds.

"Kara" I know you are with the Lord & you will be missed by all. I also know, that you knew, how deeply your parents Love you & truely believed "you" would be healed. Their "Faith" was bigger than ours could ever be, NO ONE can say they neglected you, because you know different, as do I. May your soul be in the Lord's hands, and may your tender spirit live on in the hearts & memories of those who knew you.

I sit here today, a mom of a 5yr old boy, reading about Kara. I feel saddened to the core about her UNNECESSARY death and am grateful that I can still go give my son hugs and kisses! My son was diagnosed with Asthma at the age of 2. Because of the asthma he had developed hearing problems which perpetuated into a minor speech impediment. I was a fanatical christian but I habe managed to break away from the cult. No-One can tell me about what is right and what is wrong according to the bible. Christians - before you kill anymore helpless children - GO READ YOUR BIBLE. Not just a verse here and a verse there and tie them together with another verse from there. READ the book from cover to cover and understand that it is just NOT meant for our "times". We treated the asthma MEDICALLY and he is now CURED - thanks our fantastic PEADIATRITIAN who is trained in "fixing / healing / curing" childrens diseases. Jason is now seeing a speech therapist and is a HEALTHY, LIVELY, HAPPY and LOVING boy.

I am so shocked and angered to hear the news about Madeline. I really hope we dont have to hear such news again. There should be a line between faith and reality. Madeline just had to pay a price for a blind faith. My heart goes out to her. May she RIP.
