I will never forget Marjorie. In my time working in Canberra as Manager for British Airways, Marjorie was (and always will be) the "Queen Bea" of the ACT travel industry. She was so full of life, energy and laughter. I so loved when on sales calls to see her, originally at AMEX DFAT when she managed the travel account and time and time again at various different roles that she held in the Industry. We laughed and joked about the industry and shared so many fun stories of our travels. Marjorie and Tom are deeply etched in my memory as a very generous couple that would always offer kindness and friendship. To me, Marjorie was like a second Mother to me during my time in Canberra, and, I am a much better person for knowing both her and Tom. I still have the champagne flutes that Marjorie and Tom bought for me when I bought my first house in Ainslie. The world is worse off now that they are not here. I send my thoughts and love to Gay and her daughters. Your Mum / Oma has made a very big impact on the world. I will remember them both for the rest of my life. Just seeing Marjorie in my memory now makes me smile. My thoughts to you all, and I am raising a glass of bubbles out of those glasses in honour of Marjorie & Tom. Much love, Andrew Rattle xx
