I grew up with Mark also...Cayuga park, Neighood, his 64 malibu and his 56 chevy. Boy did we do some damage in those days. Playing pool in their garage on that crooked old table and playin hoops in the backyard with his bro Jose. But above all my strangest memory is when he begged me to let him ride my brand spanking new bicycle when we were about 10 years old. I finally let him ride it and he cruised down the street and he got hit by a car. Man, was I mad and sad at the same time. Pretty much how I feel now. My heart goes out to your family and friends and may you be with God my old friend, Much aloha, Jaime

I went to elementary and jr. high school with Mark and he was a very nice person. Hadn't seen him since the 8th grade, but he apparently was well loved and deserving of such love I am sure.

Our parents lived next to each other on Anderson Street, and they have known each other for fifty plus years. I will always remember the love and affection we all shared as a family in those days in the city, the great times we kids had playing together, and how you always looked out for me as a big brother. When our family got the news, it was unbelievable. my heart goes out to the family and close friends, I will always remember you fondly MarcoAntonio, be at peace.

Thank you for the craziest softball memory as our bestest Coach ever. With LG pitching, KB playing 2nd, and me playing Short, you got ejected from our game that night at Youngblood on 3rd St for having words with the ump. But the team needed you and you didn't leave us. Instead, you continued to coach by hiding in the trees above the field, and sounding like the Great Wizard of Oz yelling out the plays. I'll always smile at that unforgettable memory, then laugh with endearment. MIssing you much with love, RIP ~ Special K

For Papa; there are no words strong enough in the english language to describe the man you were. I am proud that you considered me a friend. Of all the people I've know in my 50 years you were one of the finest men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. My thoughts are with your Red and White family and the Guardado family, may they remain strong. I will never forget you. . . Love and Respect, Big Bob RDMC New England / Middlesex County

Papa, this is breaking my heart to have to write this because I just can't believe your gone. I mean, I just saw you the other day. A reminder to all of us left behind that life is truly too short. You were a great man, loyal friend to many and a loving father. There are so many of us who will miss you terribly. We will never forget you Papa. Love, Mike and Tonia

Mark and I were kids together hanging out on the streets of San Francisco when we lived off Huron Street in the 70's. I haven't seen him in 30 years but back then he was always one to care, always had a smile for you, there was not a better friend to be had. Many good times were had with the old gang back then, cruising his 64' Malibu, hanging at Cayuga Park - peace to you always old friend.

As someone already stated, "Hells Angels will never be the same without you." The club is never the same when anyone passes on. Papa was an upright & true man with so much to offer anyone he cared about. I am sad I'll never get to hug him again but so very very grateful to have had him in my life. He glowed with love whenever he talked about his kids. Didn't matter where we were, as soon as I'd see Papa's face I knew everything was kool! Twins' Mom

Papa came into our lives on a chance and quickly became part of the family. We all met him when he spent some time in New England a few years back. He touched us all so deeply. He was a kind and caring soul that would do anything for you and genuinely cared ABOUT YOU. He was so easy to love. A big teddy bear. He is now looking down on the people he cared about with love and respect and he will be watching over us as we slowly make our way to meet him once again... someday~~ RIP Papa. We love you.

I met Papa when he was living in New England. I always found him to be a caring and respectful man and considered him a true friend. Never more so than when my son passed away suddenly this June. Papa was one of the first people to call me after hearing the news and continued to check on my family until his passing. My love and respect to all of his brothers and family. Listen for him when you hear his favorite music. Watch for him when you see something you know he would've loved. His spirit will be there.

I worked with Mark in the Greyhound shop in San Francisco for several years, and have spoken with him more recently as well since I work in Dogpatch. Mark was always someone who was smart, capable, caring, and put others first. On the other hand, he would not put up with any bullshit, but I NEVER knew him to go LOOKING for a fight. I have read "prosecutors say" and "police believe" that Mark Guardado was a "dangerous criminal", etc., etc. I am sorry they have that opinion and were never able to get to know him personally. My first-hand knowledge of Mark does NOT support those accusations. As Jesus once said, "He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone." Mark does not deserve to be remembered for a few mistakes, let alone many false accusations made by those who think they are so much better than he. Mark deserves to be remembered for the absolutely good, kind, and caring person that he was. Pray for his family - they are suffering quite a loss. Dominick, all the best, and remember what I told you. Make sure this is never you.

I just talked to you earlier that day. If I would have known it was going to be the last time we would talk, I would have told you how great of a friend you really were instead of just assuming you knew it. We were friends since high school, and worked together for many years and I was there watching your kids grow up. By the way, you did a great job. You have good kids. They will always know who their real father was. No one will ever fill your shoes. Rest in peace my friend. Little "T" P.S. Say hi to MP and all the other CP heads up there.

I found 2 pictures last night with Mark and my husband. The first one had Mark with his vest and his prospect patch. The other was Mark and John with Mark holding his Jacket with the full patch. I hadn't seen Mark in 3 years but he always kept in touch. After my accident he called me while I was in the hospital just to see if I was ok or needed anything. He even called me on my Birthday. He always made me feel special. We will miss you much! Heres to the Hells Angel in the sky.
