Close to 38 years ago I seen Trapeze in concert at the Hemisphere Arena in San Antonio. It was a great concert! Glenn Hughes was a good singer, but I was really impressed with Mel Galley's showmanship on the guitar, as well as his playing. Always a Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton fan, I put Mel in that category after the concert. Great, great rock performer!!!

Mel made me want to play a guitar. He had amazing skill and creativity. It is a tremendous sad loss, but I know that many will continue to remember him. He was a music legend and his music will still be heard.
