My eyes filled up with tears as I heard the news It never occurred to me, how much I could lose I find myself wishing that it wasn't real Every time I think about it, pain is all I can feel Tears fall from my eyes, I can barely see But my heart tells me that he'll always be in our hearts And I will love and miss him forever His memory will never leave His kind and gentle smile will always be seen Never forget him; never let him leave your mind

Unfortunately I don't have too many memories of my cousin Mohammed. But he was someone who made an impact on my life regardless of whether or not he was physically in it. My most memorable time spend with Mohammed was when I was in Jordan for the summer, and I couldn't sleep, so we stayed up all night talking in the kitchen about music and just life in general, getting to know each other as much as we could until I had to leave again. Missing him every day..

My american wife had a birthday party, we were in jordan and we had to celebrate. I listed all people to invite and most of their names of course were Mohammed. She got confused and she said is this a momo party ??? I started mentioning the last name of each Mohammed (she calls them Momo). When I got to Aburahmeh she really found him hard to pronounce and she called him Adupidoo.... and this is what we call him now.... He liked it though...

Mohammed, you are one of those people who touched my heart and my life and you will live on forever... and for those who still alive, remember to always tell the ones you care about that you love them while you still can.

I remember Ehab Jubran always talking about Mohammed Awad and Abu Rahmeh, and how one day Awad had a very perverted dream about Abu Rahmeh, my stomach split in two. You never realize how much life is fragile like a layer of dust that can never adhere to the place it resides upon. All I can say, all I can feel is that his mom gets the solidity and strength to pass by this ordeal.

Mohammed was and will be close to me and to my family, years ago, I met him when he started to be a close friend to my brother and I found him the friend that I wish I had as brother, he was always smiling, I really cant picture him upset or mad, he had something special made everything around sounds fun. The last time we spent together was the last day for me in Jordan, we stayed chatting and laughing, he left late at night, I walked with him to his car and we hugged, I never expected it to be the last time but it was. Mohammed I loved you as brother and I will never forget you no matter how much time goes by. You will always be the friend that I never argued with and the brother that never let me down… Miss you already bro..

I never got a chance to really get to know Mohammed but I do have a very strong memory of him. I remember the night I met him. Qais and I accidentally found him outside a restaurant with some friends. Mohammed didn't say anything to me that time, but everytime I would look over at him I would be met with the biggest and sweetest smile I have ever seen. Even the other times I saw him, that same warm, genuine smile was always present. I regret that I will never have the chance to become better friends with him. It's amazing how something as small as a smile is actually such a huge gift a person can give. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends. It is really such a tragic loss of one of the nicest people I have ever met.
