Very sad to learn about the passing of Ned. I knew Ned long enough to realise that he was an exceptional person, very kind and generous too. He was very proud of his children and consulted with me extensively about one of his children going to Notre Dame University. I last saw Ned in ChinaTown in early 2010 just by chance. I thought after his treatment he would be around for ever. He seemed like that type of bloke. Rest in peace and stay away from the "Angels Bar" whilst in heaven, unless you are already there!
