It was indeed a privilege knowing Noelene. We first met through her son Brett who was into genealogy and I was at the time doing the Fitzpatrick family tree. We spent some quality time together working on the tree and having some meals out when Noelene was feeling up to it. She was a very kind hearted person and would be there for you when needed. I remember distinctly when she sat with me for hours one night whilst Ted was having surgery at North Shore Private. I would never have asked her to do that, it was entirely her idea and it must have been a great sacrifice for her. I will always remember Noelene with great love in her heart for her family, grand children and friends. Go in peace my friend.

We enjoyed meeting and working under Noelene's leadership at the Claire Deane Memorial Garden at Forestville. Noelene's cheerful and happy attitude helped make the task more pleasureable and we will remember her also as we work to maintain this lovely natural bush area in the future.
