It was with great sadness I have just been advised of Norms passing. Norm, Glenys, Troy and Vicki were my first neighbors at Bradbury back in 1975, Norm and I shared many experiences together from sitting in the gutter pissed drinking beers at midnight when he left Wabco and not knowing what to do next, in our stupor it was decided he have a go out on his own......the outcome of that decision is now history then onto our years in Apex together, the thousands of hours spent at his work yard on the "wood chop". Sadly as so often happens when one moves interstate you lose contact with many true friends, Norm you were a champion, you were a leader, you were a hard worker, a great family man and a person whose friendship I valued.

A dear friends tribute at Norms funeral best described the man that Norm was: He was a man of strong opinions, which he expressed freely. He was also a man of integrity, who honoured his word. He could be frustratingly stubborn. But he could be embarrassingly generous. Norm loved my children and my husband with all of his heart. I hope he thought I was alright too! This is the way I will always remember Norm. He is sadly missed by all that loved him.

Dad did a lot of great thinks for myself, he was a business partner, a mentor, and a good mate. I can not replace him but I will always have with my all the memories and good times we shared, from spearfishing trips, to crabbing, snow skiing or just having a beer. I was lucky to have him as a father.

Hi Troy, Don't know how this site works, but if you get this message can you give me a call please. I have only just found out from Mark Tishler that dad had passed away, to you mum and Vicki please accept my sincere condolences and apology for not attending the funeral. Prior to me moving to Qld Normie and I were very close, I feel such an arsehole for not keeping in contact. Look forward to hearing from you mate Bob O'Sullivan 0414 212500
