Watched you in Dirty Dancing a few weeks ago because or your movies you are with us forever, shines us some light please Patrick you know we need it now more than ever.

I grew up watching my favorite movie dirty dancing ..Man how i loved that movie i wish i could dance like him......

I was diagnosed with cancer in December 2009. the whole process of radiation therapy and chemotherapy was difficult. the radiation burns were the worst and then to be told the cancer had probably spread. i went back to work spring of last year as a run a business. then I had to have time off again last month to wait to be told if I had cancer again. But I didn'. In September I am getting married. When I found out Patrick had cancer and then died I was recovering from extensive burns. Is it only me or did any other people look at Patrick and see what I saw. I man with the face of an Angel. It is not often I look at successful people and think that. His face was beautiful and open, like a Water Lily in full bloom. I know in my heart he was someone special and not just because he was famous. As I believe in the after life, I know that when the time is right Patrick will have important work to carry out in the spirit world. I hope there is someone out there who feels the same way as I do and can relate to what I have written.

He was without doubt a brilliant actor , a start in his own right, we have many of his films and watch them often, from bad guy to an angel, eah film a tear jerker and brilliant, Many thanks Patrick for devotion and dedication in film making. John J

You could help people forget there own problems with films like Dirty Dancing and Ghost (Feel good Films). First saw you in North and South and new you would be a STAR. and how he could make you "feel" what his character was feeling! Every time he got that sad look on his face, you could feel it in your heart, and every time he smiled, it just lit you up. My mother and I were looking forward to watching the series North and South, and When she first saw Patrick Swayze, she pointed out the painting of my ancestor that had served in the civil war, they were identical!

I only "know" Patrick Swayze from watching his movies. He was a romantic heartthrob. The only thing I have to say is that I admire him for his faithfulness to his wife. He never played a bad guy, because that did not fit his personality, not even when he made a mean angry face. I feel I can relate to him because of his dancing. There was an idealism about him that attracted others of the same bent. They can recognize it. I hope I wasn't wrong, but I believed he was what he seemed to be. He did not have a tarnished reputation. I am happy for his wife's memories of him. She had a gift that is rare, so she must be pretty rare herself. I wish Patrick's family peace and hope for a time when they will be reunited. The man on the right is the friend that I lost who inspired me the same way.

He is going to be missed terribly but at least he is not in pain anymore. His acting was the best and seemed like a very gentle man. He had a great love for horses as I do. Many wishes to his family.

When I first met Pafrick he was setting in the middle of a groomers floor playing with a litter of Standard Poodles and holding my grandoughter, Waring overalls and a tool belt hed ben working on a stall, He was in the prosess of making Dirty Dancing ,You would never now he was famous he was just a every day loveng husband.and a dad to his four leggd kids Horses and Dogs. I am so sad to hear that Patrick has died. I am spanish, and I have been in USA leaning english, and there is where I read abut his illness, and I went sad, but I always had faith I was hoping he was going to get cure. Last tuesday I coudn't believe he was dead when I heared on the news.Now I only hope he is in a better place. I would like to beable to give a big hug to his family, but specially to his wife and his mother. RIP Mari Mar.

my first memory with patrick was watching dirty dancing aged 7 and that was it for me ive loved him ever since. when growing up it was all about watching patrick films. cant believe such a wonderful man has been taken from us all. i still cry everyday, i know i dont even know him but i felt like i did. i just hope my husband and i have the love and perfect marrige he and lisa had. so so sorry for lisa and his family ill think about you always. xx RIP MY WONDERFUL PATRICK XXXXXXXX

Nobody puts Baby in the corner, in my opinion that's the best movie line of all time.. Dirty Dancing was the first movie I watched, finished and later remembered. I think I was about 11, Patrick became my favorite and I was hooked. He was a great actor who was also a strong man, his last months were filled with pain but he handled it gracefully. Hats off to a great man

I am one of many who appreciate his talent. He became in one of my favorites since Nortjah and South and City of Joy. My heart and prayers are with his family.

One more bright and shining star has risen to the Heavens ... I'm sure his start is a Dancing Star amid the glitter. I watched the tribute on "Dancing With The Stars" last night and had tears in my eyes. Patrick's passing has touched my Heart more then I thought it would. I was raised not far from "Mountain Lake" where parts of "Dirty Dancing" was filmed. I also wanted to be a dancer and ever since that movie, Patrick was also my partner. Thank you, Lisa for sharing him with a now 70 year old lady that immediately turns into a twenty year old when I put on "Dirty Dancing". How lucky you were to have had him as your partner, lover and best friend.
