Peter and sailed first together as junior Officers back in 1974.I got to know him and his family very closely.We both climbed up the slow promotion ladder and ended up at the top of our different fields.He was without doubt one of the most competent Chief Engineering Officers I have known. I will miss him as a close friend.

I have allways considered Peter as one of the best seafarers I have ever had the pleasure of sailing with .As Chief Engineering Officer he was second to none .I will miss him
