I met Peter and Rhonda twenty years ago, a young Canadian traveling and working in Australia. They befriended me in what all of their friends know was typical style. Warm, open, unconditional. While I never had the chance to return, we kept up over the years by "snail mail" - always I looked forward to the cards postmarked Australia, with news of their travels around south east Asia, the dogs, the garden.
