It's Dec 6 2011 just wanna say happy 57th birthday Randy
As i was born 02 july 1981 it is sad to know he was deceased before my first birthday in 1982. I started playing the guitar at around the age of 5, but from an injury caused at 6 no fault other than my own i didn't play for 10 years. Coming from a none musical upbringing i found Randall's style of jazz chords, arpegio scales played fast and the sense of thought when wanted to bring the lyrics to the music to gell with such dexterity. To all his family and his children may they always be remembered and their name held up high

Randy has always been an inspiration of mine. My guitar instructor back in the day Tommy Cook got me into doing alot of Randy's work, and it all went from there. I was learning riff after riff after riff of Randy's. I might not have been able to see Rand y perform live (seeing as i am only 16) but listening to the records of his that i have and just learning his riffs are enough for me. I was drawn to Randy not only as a Musician but as a person. He was always all about others, and not himself first. And im sure all of you others feel the same way as I do and if you don't, than thats your deal! ROCK ON RANDY!!!!!
