As my boss, Bob was the strong, silent type. Very much a wall of strength to his family, and also respectfully called, "POP", "OLD MAN", "DR.(this is a GREAT story) which later caused him to be called, "BAHAMA BOB", and he was also called "SIR"(if he was brooding or too quiet...lol). I don't think Bob was easily ruffled. I did see him caught off guard only once, and he almost choked on his coffee. This was because he heard his employee disrespect a customer. Bob didn't make any rash decisions after he composed himself, though. Bob was more than anything else..."FAIR".

Richard and I moved in next door to Bob and Gene in 1978. Right away they took us in as their friends. There was nothing Bob would not do for us. We enjoyed dinners, visiting around the pool and going on vacations with Bob and Gene. Bob always had a good sense of humor and great stories to share with us. We cherish our memories of Bob and what he meant to us as a kind and loving friend. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. We loved Bob and will miss him. Love, Richard, Doris and Jillian
