You have been a dear friend to me for 31 years since Rudi was born. You have always supported me through hard times and good times...And we had some great times.... We talked about some of them in the hospital. You are finally free! I miss you! Aranka

A lady with whom I shared happy and not so happy times with when visiting Janett. Some of the best times for Shirley was when I brought in "Ollie the wonder dog" to see her. Shirley just loved Ollie and of course he was always up for a cuddle from her. Shirley became part of our extended family joining in with visitors to Janett and making us laugh with her great sense of humour. Thank you Shirley for your kindness to Janett, washing her smalls for her so that they would not get ruined in the industrial machine, popping in for chats and to see if she was ok, sharing in the everyday events of the home they shared, and bringing back goodies from her trips to the local supermarket. Thank you for being interested in what I was up to and letting me into your life, you will not be forgotten. Much love xx

Thankyou Shirley for sharing a small but significant part of your life with us. To Janett. You have been the friend who understands, listens, calms and shares. We have moaned together, groaned together laughed and cried together. You have been my saving grace so many times and I will miss you dearly. To Olivia. Nanny's friend to share fish and chips with. The friend who wanted to know every detail of a 5 year olds life. To Jenni. A friend who eagerly awaited the weekly events of the lives of a family she hardly knew but cared about. Who touched our lives in many ways. Shirley it has been an honour and a privilege to know you and to share the last part of your journey with you. We know you were happy to go but sad to leave xoxoxo
