Shirley, I'm so sorry I missed the chance to say goodbye to you after all you did for us and Grandad when he was sick. You were a very good friend to him after Nana died and whilst you never tried to replace her, Grandad was so very fond of you. I didn't know you were sick until too late, and wished I could have seen you to thank you one last time. Hopefully you've caught up with Grandad and let him know I still miss him so much. Thank you so much Shirley, take care.

My mother sewed curtains for Ian and Shirley Winn for many years. Mrs Winn, as we knew her, was always the Lady, gracious, kind, caring and loving. We would visit her at her store in Camden and she would remember all of Elva's children and grand children. It is a pleasure to remember her and to sorrow at her passing. Thank you Mrs Winn.
