I know Stephanie Tubbs Jones via TV, media and Youtube only. She always, always impressed me with her energy, convictions and jubilant smile. I thank her so much for being such a loyal and vocal supporter of Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton, my super-hero. I was so looking forward to meeting Stephanie this coming Tuesday, at the convention. A wonderful, dynamic, trailblazing woman: I will admire her always

As a Hillary Clinton supporter, I am so grateful to Stephanie for her enthusiastic and courageous campaigning on Hillary's behalf. It could not have been easy with pressure being exerted on her from all sides, but she was loyal and dynamic. She exemplifies post-racial politics. She chose her candidate and did not waver. Thank you and God bless you Stephanie. Much love and prayer to your family and friends. You will be missed.

I was in the audience when Congresswoman Tubbs-Jones spoke at the DST National Convention in Orlando, Florida last month. What a dynamic person!! Be comforted by the memories. Her impact on others will live on. "Absent from the body, present with the Lord!" Be encouraged!!

I was devastated to hear of the sudden death of Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones yesterday. She was one of the greatest advocates for the American people in the House of Representatives that I have known. She will be sadly missed. May she find her inner peace with God.

When I first met the Congresswoman, all she talked about was sitting on the Ways and Means Committee to help those who were always left out. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. , my Sorority as well. It was a historical moment for me to listen to her talk to then Congresswoman Carrie Meek (FL) about how to get on that committee. What a treasure and beautiful diamond. She will be missed. May God Bless and keep her family, friends and the State of Ohio.

When Rep. Tubbs Jones was County Prosecutor, I was called for Grand Jury duty. During the selection process Ms. Jones interviewed everyone, asking for information about their employment, background and experience. At the time, my husband and I owned a small business in Parma. When I mentioned that in my interview, Ms. Jones said give your business a little plug here in front of everyone. I was so surprised and pleased. I realized then that she was eager to help the so-called little guys. I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. May you find peace in your grief. Shirley from Parma

To look up and see a beautiful, intelligent but humble BLACK woman, sure of herself and respectful of others was an inspiration to me. Her smile would light up a room. None of that "I'm better than you " taint ever attached itself to her. She loved people and she loved the Lord. She was not ashamed of her religious beliefs and she lived the life she talked about. We will miss her but I pray that other young black children, (boys and girls) , will remember and strive to keep the candle burning here on earth while they have the chance.

Will miss your infectious smile and passion to work hard and do good. Sad that the good ones have to go so young. Heaven just got richer and more devine with your energetic presence. My heart is very sad today.
