I miss Tony. I was commenting to a friend just yesterday; how much I miss Tony. He was an excellent White House Press Secretary; quick witted and very intelligent. I often wonder what Tony would be doing right now if he had not succumbed to cancer. My bet he would be at the forefront of exposing the corruption in this White House and current Press Secretary. You are sorely missed Tony!

I still think of Tony Snow and how sad it is that he wasn't on this earth longer. From time to time I read the Commencement Address he gave in May of 2007. I would encourage everyone to read it. Such a wise man. I, as an American citizen, was excited about watching Tony Snow and the future contributions he would have made to this country. He is missed by so many because we knew he had unlimited potential to help America. He, also, had that knack, similar to Ronald Reagan, in lifting up one's spirits in the middle of a bad news day. I miss seeing him on the news. May his family continually be reminded of and rewarded for his time with them. Janet 7-13-09

I really miss Tony during this political season. His insight would be awesome now. I can only imagine how his family feels. I feel selfish wishing he was here, knowing for certain he is happy and pain free in heaven. Best wishes and I hope this thought will be comforting to you, too. Brenda in Atlanta, GA

Tony, I may be a Canadian, but I loved watching you during the briefing at WH. It was only yesterday that I learnt of your passing. I am so shocked and sad and crying at the same time. You were the best and the Left must be so relieved you are not among us anymore. I know God will protect your family and I hope they are well taken care of . I miss you and America has lost a great citizen.

I don't know what you'd make of the cirus surrounding the '08 election, but I'd be happy to listen to your thoughts again. My heart to your family....

You will see expresions Tony had on the face of your children. Tony's Ideals will be their's and they will be great, because that is the example set befor them. They will ge good husband/wife, cause that is what he was. They will be great parents, cause that is the example set before them. How blessed they will be when they look at their own lives and see the greatness of their father, in them selves. They will know the greatness of their father, lives in them. through then,Tony Snow lives. Rest asured, Our LORD is watching over you and the children.

I have only started to be "tuned in" to politics in the past two years. During that time, I listened to Tony on Fox News, and filling in for Bill O'Reilly, and it was easy to admire his sense of humor and love of life. I was unbelievably saddened over his death. I couldn't believe my ears when I woke that Saturday morning to hear the news. His polite perspective was genuine and respectful, regardless of the opposite points of view. I recently read his faith testimony and I have saved it to reflect on. Tony will be fondly remembered as a patriotic American of great integrity. Prayers for his family and friends continue...

It's been two weeks today and even though I didn't know Tony personally, I feel like he was a family member. I still grieve for him a lot, sometimes still tears come to my eyes thinking of him. Yet I feel God is saying: "If you knew heaven, you wouldn't be sad. You would be so excited for him." Yes, that's true, but I still miss him. I will miss not hearing his cheerful voice on the radio. I was so excited when I heard him fill in for Bill on Fridays. I will miss that. I was excited the other day to find a free video speech on ITunes that Tony did in Feb 2007 at Texas A&M. For all who are interested just put in Tony Snow in the search on ITunes and you can download the speech from the George H.W. Bush's presidential library for free. God bless all of you! Let's keep praying for Jill and the children! Let's keep his beautiful spirit alive!

I love the straigh forwardness and bluntness of Tony Snow. He had courage in face of cancer. He is an example of "Let your light so shine before men, they will glorify your heavenly Father. Now I know what the verse means. I started missing Tony when we stopped hearing him. In May he cancelled all of his speaking engagements. My special prayers to all his family. God answers prayer. Thank you God, for creating Tony Snow and placing him in a position that so many of us could share him. My Dad, who was an old country doctor, use to say that "When God sends an invite, it ain't polite to say no." Tony tried, but God won and we are left with the fine memories of a credit to God's work.

I have always admired Tony Snow, but after just having read his testimony, I feel as though I really knew him and am blessed beyond measure. I have mailed copies of it to everyone I can contact. It could easily be the text of a sermon or a wonderful Sunday school lesson. My prayers are for his family and close friends. I know he had many. God bless you all. Dot Donald

I was only a viewer but his passing has affected me in a way no one else in public has. The way he kept his priorities in a field where this is very often not the case was rare . The way he treated others -especially those he did not agree with was an example to all in his business. I had cancer two years ago and watching how he dealt with his was inspiring. To his family : may the prayers of so many going up for you give you "incredible power" and make you feel "weightless"! God bless you until you see Tony again! Marilyn Barnes

Tony Snow was a decent and honorable man. His faith was evident, his character and integrity was obvious and he is a great loss to our country. My heart and prayers go to his family. We only saw him on TV or heard him on the radio. But it was apparent by his conversation that he was a loving man, a forgiving man, and had a great sense of humor. May his influence be felt in the lives of those who knew him, loved him and trusted him.

I am just an observer, not connected to Mr. Snow or his family, but deeply feel their loss. Mr. Snow was a man of great passion and conviction. Evidenced by his accomplishments and how so many have felt his passing as a tremendous loss to society and the world. God bless his family From the Lovett Home

I think of Tony Snow with fondness. His voice was the easiest of all journalists and commentators to listen to whether it was from the podium at the White House, as a guest on Rush Limbough's show or as the fill in on Bill O'Reilly's Factor. I loved that his beliefs mirrored my own. He was refreshing and made me feel as thought there was hope in the darkness of this world. I cried very hard upon learning of his passing. My heart breaks for his family, and I pray that God will bless them each and every day. I am going to miss you, Tony... Barbara Tracy

What a beautiful man who had so much to live for and yet to the end Tony showed such dignity and class. It was obvious he was a man of faith, a great husband and father. His love for his family was obvious and our prayer is that they would always cherish those memories. His deep faith and integrity is rarely seen on television today. God Bless each of you and know we're hurting with you.

I lost my dad when I was 16 years old, too. He died at the age of 45 from a heart attack, 39 years ago. It is hard to lose a father at any age. My youngest brother was only 6. Hold together and talk about him often. My sympathy to your mother, she will miss him, and need the children to help her. Focus on how much he loved you and how much he was loved. I listened to him whenever I could, and always thought he was one of the best. I hate that he is gone......but thank God that Tony had a strong faith in our Almighty God. Sandy Walker

When I turned on the radio and heard his voice, I knew I'd hear the truth in a clear, open discussion of any issue. He had a joy in life that made me want to listen, learn and be able to repeat what he said. I am very grateful to live in a world he made better by his life. His example as a man of God will enrich all of our lives.

To the family of Tony Snow, we would like to express our sympathies to you. We are grateful for the life of this kind and honorable man, and we always enjoyed watching him on Fox News and then as the White House Press Secretary. We are immigrants from Canada (1992), we are in our 60's, and consider this country our home. We appreciated his conservative point of view, knowing full well how liberalism and socialism can creep into society through an unwatchful people who become accustomed to government in their lives. So, we are saddened that he has been taken from us. But, he inspired many people in this country, and they will carry on the work he believed in. Thank you for sharing him with all of us, and may God be with all of you in the coming days. We all know how much his wife and children meant to him. May precious memories help to sustain you and may you be able to commit your lives to an all-wise, and merciful Heavenly Father. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Wayne and Irene Aselton

I remember sending Tony a few cards when it was made known that he was suffering from colon cancer. He actually sent me a thank you letter!! Then when he became White House Press secretary I send him a note of congratulations and wished him well in this wonderful new position. Again I told him I was praying for him but this time it was a much happier cause. Again....he sent me another thank you note saying he appreciated my prayers. When learning of the return of cancer I was just devastated!! I have been praying for Tony Snow for a very long time and God has answered these prayers by taking the pain and suffering away from Tony. He is not sick or hurting any longer. Our country was blessed with the presence of this good man for such a short time but oh, the impact he had on so many. May God keep his family in His care. Tony will be waiting for them. He is not going to be replaced for a very, very long time. Judy

I ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO THE BRIEFINGS BETWEEN TONY AND THE WHITE HOUSE PRESS CORE. HIS WIT USED , HIS SMILE EVER PRESENT, THE ROLLING EYES AT THE MONOTONOUS QUESTIONS...I COULD SEE ALL IN PLACE AS THE REPEATED QUESTIONS WENT ON... HIS EYES TWINKLING AND HIS MIND THINKING OF THE ANSWERS HE'D LIKE TO GIVE BUT WAS TO MUCH OF A GENTLEMAN TO UTTER.... IT MADE ME LAUGH JUST WATCHING HOW HE SO EASILY HANDLED THE GROUP BUT I'D SHAKE MY HEAD WONDERING HOW HE COULD REMAIN SO RESPECTFUL AND PATIENT WITH THEM... ON THOSE PARTICULAR DAYS I'D NOTICE HE'D HAVE A LOOK ON HIS FACE LIKE A CHILD KEEPING A SECRET TO HIMSELF, LAUGHING INSIDE AT THE ONSLAUGHT BEFORE HIM. I DONT THINK I WILL EVER WATCH ANOTHER BRIEFING WITH THE SAME ENTHUSIASM BECAUSE OUR TONY WONT BE THERE TO KEEP IT LIGHT, YET SO INFORMATIVE, FUN YET SERIOUS... THANK YOU TONY FOR ALL YOU GAVE US, YOU WILL BE MISSED MORE THAN IMAGINED. REST PEACEFULLY SWEET PRINCE IN THE SAVIOURS ARMS THAT YOU WORSHIPED AND MAY GOD WATCH OVER YOUR LOVED ONES.

Tony Snow was always someone I had hoped to meet one day. As a cancer patient myself, I could relate to everything he wrote and said about his experience. His grounding in faith kept him positive in the valley of the shadow. He articulated the conservative position so well. He will be sorely missed, even by those of us who never met him. I will look forward to meeting him in heaven one day. Our thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful family. Our loss is heaven's gain.
