I remember as a small boy in the early '50s sitting in the side car of Uncle Bill's enormous and noisy motorbike as he rode up the Pacific Highway, Crows Nest; an exhilirating and terrifying event! I remember him as a tram conducter as well, swinging into our section off the open walkway to collect fares on the old Bondi tram! He was very close to his brother, my father, Frank, and his sister Marie and helpful to our families. I recall lots of good times spent at his home with him and Aunty Kath and Peter, Paul, Kathy and Carmel. Love Michael (Adelaide)
