Terry Gene Weeks Tribute

My Dad was so amazing. I spent most of my life dwelling on the bad in it. Any time I was feeling down Dad always knew what to say. I remember the very last day i saw him alive. He made me and my siblings dinner. He was so proud of all his accomplishments and he had every right to be. I was so proud of him! He asked me that day for me to tell him how he was doing as a Father and I am sooooooo Happy to have had the Priviledge to reassure him how WONDERFUL and AMAZING he was and how much we all love him dearly. The weekend of his death we were planning to be there to come spend the weekend with him. But because of some complications in the scheduling (i.e he was supposed to work and it was bubbuas spring break) we decided to just wait for the next weekend. .... I will never be able to quit wondering why and if there were something that could have gone different. .... I love you Dad and miss you dearly! Hearing everyone say how much you cared for us kids helps pass the days but also makes me wish i had more cchances to take cherish the days we had with you. I LOVE AND MISS YOU DAD!!!!

Terry was my neighbor. He was the best neighbor anyone could ask for. He would help you out anytime and even give you the shirt off his back if you wanted or needed it. He was awesome! And above all that, He was an awesome father to his children. He done all he could for them and he was soooooo proud of them. You can't even really describe it in words of how much he loved his kids. He was incredibly intelligent! He knew his history and science. Actually I don't think there was a subject he wasn't good at.
And Amy, he talked alot about you. He really adored you too. I remember he use to set outside with everyone until he became fond of you. And if he did come outside to be with everyone, he would run in the house 100 times just to check to make sure he hadn't missed a message or call from you. He would tell us how beautiful you were and how you was such a good woman. We would all laugh because we had never seen him like this before. Amy, he loved you. Really he did, there is not doubt in my mind about that.
